Volunteer Appreciation This Week

The Huff staff and faculty invite all school and classroom volunteers to a Volunteer Appreciation Tea this Thursday, May 17, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. Come enjoy iced tea, lemonade and light refreshments and visit with other volunteers and school staff!

Playground supervision is provided by staff and faculty during the event.

Come and See the Kinder Garden Mural

Third-grader Grace Storer designed the new mural and helped paint much of it over the April break with her mom, her brother, Owen, and Hazel and Vivian Holmberg and their mom, Carrie Holmberg. Conceived by Grace's mom, Karen Storer, as a community-building and PTA fundraising event, the mural graces the east end of Huff's main wing, off of Room 1. So far, 56 different kindergarteners have added their hand prints.
