• Valentine Grams. The Student Council will begin selling Valentine Grams on Monday, Feb 8-11. They will be sold in front of Mrs. Burns' Office during recess and lunch, and cost 10 cents each.

Week of Feb 3, 2010
• Fund Raise for Haitian Relief. In honor of our upcoming 100 days of school milestone on Feb. 3rd, the school is asking students to donate 100 coins each towards Haitian relief. Each classroom teacher will be collecting contributions during the week of Feb. 1. All donations will be given to the Red Cross.

• New Program At Huff: English In A Flash. All ELL students have access to this program from a home computer. School is also opening the computer lab from 8:00 to 8:25 daily for any ELL students to use this program.

• Halloween Parade is on Friday, Oct. 30, 10:40am. Kinders are asked to come to school in costumes if they want to dress up. Grade 1-5 students are asked NOT to dress in their costumes before school. Toy guns, swords, knives, ships, gory costumes are not permitted at school.

• "Read Around the World" Book Fair will be at Huff Oct. 9 - 16. The book fair runs from 8am - 4pm daily.

• After School Blacktop Parent Wanted. The school has a budget for a parent 'roam the blacktop area' from 2:45-3:15 each day. If you are interested, please contact the main office. The pay is $15/hr.
